Finance first
I studied finance and business economics at university, and it took me five years to graduate. I always had a side interest in tech, but AI wasn't a thing yet, and I couldn't find a practical way to apply it.
The coffee chats that changed my mind
I did internships in accounting and then private banking at Scotiabank, with capital markets as the end goal. Then I had coffee chats with people working full time in private equity and in venture capital. They seemed miserable. I decided the six-figure pay wasn't worth handing my hours to something that wasn't even mine.
The turning point
The turning point came when I joined the engineering side of the bank as a digital transformation analyst. It pulled me into the world of building products: defining the user experience, shaping how features got made, and watching an idea turn into something people actually used.
Where I am now
That first taste led to a full-time product owner role in tech in 2024, and to building my own projects on the side. Social media started as a way to share what I was learning, in my career and in my free time with AI. I grew on LinkedIn first, from 1,000 to 10,000 followers in eight months, then moved to short-form in March 2026 to focus on AI systems and workflows.
Today I help builders and solopreneurs put practical AI systems to work on their personal brands and turn them into revenue. The simpler, the better, and only workflows I've tested myself.
