The Content Creator HQ Template

The Notion system I actually run my content on, free and empty for you to fill. Capture inspiration, turn it into ideas, script them, track what you post, log what you earn. Plus how to point Claude at it so it can do the filing.

This is the Notion workspace I run my own content on. Every database in it is empty and waiting for your data, so it is a system rather than a peek at mine.

It covers the whole loop: capture what inspires you, turn it into ideas, script them, track what you post, and log what you get paid.

What is in it

Content

  • Content Bank is the spine. Three pillars you rename to your own.
  • Content Ideas is the pipeline: Idea → Scripted → Filmed → Posted → Archived.
  • Saved Inspiration is where things you screenshot at midnight go to be found again.
  • Script Template walks you through hook, setup, payoff, CTA, and caption.
  • Viral Hooks is your own opener bank. It ships empty on purpose.
  • Video Archives fills itself from anything marked Posted.

Monetization

  • Brand Deals Tracker for the deals themselves.
  • Income & Expense Tracker and a Deductible Expense Reference, so April is boring instead of painful.

Setting it up

  1. Open the template and hit Duplicate in the top right to copy it into your own workspace.
  2. Open Content Bank and rename Pillar 1, 2, and 3 to your actual pillars. This single step is what makes everything downstream useful.
  3. Add one idea and walk it through the pipeline. Anything you mark Posted appears in Video Archives on its own.
  4. When you sit down to script, duplicate the Script Template into that row.
  5. Fill Viral Hooks with openers that have worked for you. A borrowed hook bank does not transfer.
  6. Start using the trackers the day you get your first paid deal, not the day you need the numbers.

The pillars are the part people skip. A content system with generic pillars is just a to-do list with extra steps.

Connecting Claude to it

Once the template lives in your workspace, you can let Claude read and write it directly. That turns “capture an idea” into a sentence you say out loud instead of a form you fill in.

1. Add the Notion connector

In the Claude desktop app, open Settings → Connectors, find Notion, and click Connect. You will be sent to Notion to authorize it.

2. Give it access to the right pages

This is the step that decides whether any of it works. Notion does not hand over your whole workspace by default: you pick what the connection can see.

When Notion asks which pages to grant, select your duplicated Content Creator HQ page. Everything nested inside it comes along, so you do not need to select each database one by one.

If Claude later tells you it cannot find a database, this is almost always why. Go back to Notion’s connection settings and confirm the HQ page is actually shared with it.

3. Check that it worked

Open a new chat and ask:

What databases can you see in my Content Creator HQ?

It should name Content Bank, Content Ideas, Saved Inspiration, and Brand Deals Tracker. If it names nothing, the access step above did not take.

4. Things worth asking it to do

Capture, without opening Notion:

Add this to my Content Ideas: a video about why most creators'
content pillars are too broad. Pillar 2. Status Idea.

Turn inspiration into something usable:

Look at my Saved Inspiration, find anything I haven't turned into
an idea yet, and draft three angles for each in my voice.

Draft into the structure the template already expects:

Take the top idea in Content Ideas and write it into the Script
Template format: hook, setup, payoff, CTA, caption.

Check yourself honestly:

Read my Content Ideas and tell me which pillar I have been
neglecting this month.

One habit worth building

Ask it to draft, not to publish. Claude writing a row into Content Ideas is a good use of it. Claude deciding what your pillars are is not. The system works because the judgment is yours and the filing is not.
